For more than a decade, Rhona has been delivering talks and workshops on diverse topics to educators, administrators, counselors, and support staff, as well as parents. Enhanced by her background as a recovering academic (Rhona taught college and graduate students for nine years at the University of California, Irvine) and her role as a trainer for Toolbox Project® (a K-6 social emotional learning program), Rhona is committed to delivering timely and engaging professional development to school staff, and dynamic parent education to your school community. For staff: Positive communication, conflict management, and coaching tools to enhance relationships with students, their parents, and everyone else in your life!
For staff: A roadmap to better understanding and improving organizational dynamics based on a relationship systems model that focuses on role diversity, accountability, and effectiveness.
For staff: Pragmatic and inspiring skills to lessen stress and burnout, capably create and hold boundaries, and increase self-care and enhance self-advocacy.
For Middle School parents: Tips on when, how & why to discuss Consent, risky digital media, & relationships.
Parent Ed workshops for pre- & primary school parents: Positive Discipline’s Kind and Firm Approach, Communication Strategies to Strengthen Parenting, Raising Emotionally Healthy Kids, Boundaries as the Gateway to Middle & High School Consent, and Life Coaching Tools for Parenting.
Rhona received her coaching certification from the Coaches Training Institute and studied Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC) at the Center for Right Relationship. She is a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator and a trainer for Toolbox Project®, a research-based K-6 Social Emotional Learning Curriculum that supports children and the adults who care for them. Rhona is also a Certified Trainer for Sanity School Live®, Parent Management Training for parents of complex kids. Rhona is a credentialed Professional Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation.
